Every year, Mitel (News - Alert), a provider of mobile communications services for enterprises, names the top cloud service providers in its field by awarding its partners with the Cloud Service Provider of the Year awards.

This year’s selection for the Europe, Middle East, and Africa region of the globe are as follows: TalkTalk Business, Telie, SPIE ICS, Sonera, Destiny, Uno (News - Alert) Telefoni, and CallHosted.

TalkTalk Business hails from the U.K. and has experienced a lot of growth this past year for its calling platform. It expanded its platform this year in the face of tough competition from other providers in the country. For its efforts, it saw a lot of growth and the gain of an award from Mitel.

Telia, from Sweden, saw progress with small and medium-size enterprises this past year by focusing on the cloud as its primary destination for calling services. It promoted the Telia service, which is based on the Mitel MiCloud, and saw large inroads in the private sector.

SPIE ICS, a Mitel partner from France, gained a large contract in France with a national retailer. This contract that encompasses more than 35,000 seats shows that it can handle the workload of some of the biggest organizations in its region.

Sonera looked toward the public sector in Finland in 2015 to extend sales of its VIP Mobile communications and collaboration software. It upgraded that service this past year and saw sales with many larger organizations.

Belgium’s two-time winner Destiny picked up this same award last year and continued in 2015 to grow more than 40 percent. It showed particularly solid growth in the early part of the year and kept its numbers steady throughout the following months. Mitel noted that it expects Destiny to continue to grow in 2016.

Uno Telefoni, from Denmark, has had success with its calling platform in Sweden. Last year, it took the same sales concept to Denmark and showed that it could replicate its previous success with the same sales model. Now it is pushing forward to experience more success its newest home.

CallHosted stands out as one of the most successful of its counterparts in The Netherlands. It showed success with strong sales, including picking up a top Netherlands mobile carrier, and achieved the highest rate of growth of any Mitel cloud provider in the country. Like Destiny, it has won this award two years in a row.
