Accenture (News - Alert) is a global professional services company that provides a variety of services and solutions in strategy, consulting, digital, technology and operations. Right now, its goal is to become the leading enterprise cloud services provider. One of the ways it’s been working towards this goal is by partnering with Salesforce. The pair have been partners for awhile now, and Salesforce has helped Accenture provide clients with prime cloud strategy and technology consulting, as well as cloud application implementation, integration and management services. Today, Accenture has many capabilities thanks to Salesforce, and it’s looking to improve even more.

Accenture has an impressive Salesforce background. It has more than 8,100 Salesforce skilled professionals and was the first Salesforce alliance partner to reach 1,000 Service Cloud certifications in the industry. Clearly, the company is dedicated to utilizing the partnership to the fullest. That’s why it should come as no surprise that Accenture’s Cloud First Applications team is looking to invest further in the Cloud First agenda by increasing its Salesforce capabilities.

“Whether it's leveraging AI with Salesforce Einstein, introducing new industry solutions or training the largest ecosystem workforce, we are pleased to continue expanding our relationship with Salesforce as a leading ecosystem partner,” said Saideep Raj, managing director, Cloud First Applications, Accenture. “Our clients are seeking to solve bigger business challenges with Salesforce solutions, and they are turning to Accenture for help to unlock business value at speed. Our investments in world-leading Salesforce capabilities are guiding our clients on their path to transformation with the agility that they seek in today’s cloud-first world.”

To improve upon its status as a cloud services provider, Accenture has acquired Salesforce solution providers CRMWaypoint and New Energy Group. Going past acquisitions, the company has also worked closely with Salesforce to create a portfolio of industry solutions that support as-a-service innovations. This portfolio includes 15 Fullforce solutions, which is more than double what it had last year.

It is also looking to expand upon the capabilities available through Salesforce Health Cloud – which provides life sciences companies and healthcare providers with an integrated solution to improve patient support and deliver increased personalized patient experience and care— and wants to bring Accenture Cloud Trade Promotion Management and Accenture Cloud Retail Execution to market.

On top of this, the company has also introduced two new cloud solutions: The Accenture Health Experience Platform and Accenture Wealth Management Compliance Solution for Salesforce. The Health Experience Platform is designed to work with Salesforce Health Cloud by helping insurers deliver better customer experiences and increasing long-term growth. The goal is to provide members with personalized services while simultaneously improving their operational efficiencies.

Meanwhile, the Wealth Management Compliance Solution is meant to help wealth management firms comply with the U.S. Department of Labor’s fiduciary rule for advisers overseeing retirement accounts. This new solution will work with Salesforce’s Financial Services Cloud and will guide advisors through the product selection process, facilitate client onboarding, automate BIC/BICE production and ensure that ongoing investment decisions are tested to meet the clients’ best interests.

Accenture has an array of clients to take care of, and these new Salesforce capabilities will hopefully help them do the best job possible. Tyler Prince, EVP, WW Alliances & Go-to-Market Innovation, Salesforce, weighed in on this goal by saying, “Accenture continues to make aggressive moves to meet the increasingly complex demands of our joint customers by using the Salesforce platform as a springboard for innovation across key industries.”

He continued, “With new industry solutions, thousands of skilled Salesforce consultants and rapidly expanding capability, Accenture is a top strategic partner. We look forward to further collaborations to help our mutual customers succeed and digitally transform their businesses.”
