Markets across multiple industries have seen increased saturation as a myriad of companies attempt to enter new sectors and improve their market share. Alongside this the constant stream of new, innovative, and disruptive technologies that have forced businesses to develop continuously or risk falling behind of the extensive competition. Integral to the success of companies in this increasingly strenuous environment are well-executed strategies that take advantage of the most up-to-date and competitive technology, enabling reliable growth and scalability.

Organizations hoping to benefit from a wide array of solutions have begun to increasingly utilize cloud commerce marketplaces that streamline purchases by offering a variety of key services and products in one place. Once a niche market, the long-term effects of the pandemic have exponentially improved the popularity of e-commerce. Forrester (News - Alert) (News - Alert) predicting that 17% of all transactions will take place through e-commerce and marketplaces by 2023, redirecting over $2 trillion from traditional retailers.

These vendors are constantly acquiring new additions to their portfolio that continue to make them indispensable to companies supporting transformation and overhauling their digital capabilities.

One of the largest and fastest-growing cloud marketplace providers, Pax8,  has recently extended the reach of services provided globally through the acquisition of Umbrellar, a services-led Microsoft (News - Alert) (News - Alert) cloud solutions provider that primarily offers cloud-managed services, migration, advisory services, and cloud procurement for over 1,000 New Zealand businesses. The addition will broaden Pax8’s fast-growing partner base, offering their comprehensive ensemble of solutions to the New Zealand market.
