AIOps Benefits Real-World Businesses

By Greg Tavarez, TMCnet Editor  |  September 20, 2022

AIOps, used in conjunction with enterprise DevOps practices and cloud computing, assists IT and developer teams by providing additional insight into their IT environment. Operations teams then get more visibility into production changes.

Through OpsRamp for Google Cloud Platform, for example, enterprises gain proactive insights and operational visibility of their GCP inventory, utilization and consumption. OpsRamp allows enterprise IT teams to optimize their business-critical services and deliver compelling end-user experiences with rapid onboarding, comprehensive monitoring, intelligent correlation and real-time alerting.

OpsRamp for GCP also enables enterprises to manage alerts before they occur, correlate alerts with problems affecting IT services, avoid costly service disruptions, consolidate and compress raw alerts into meaningful events and tame the complexity of modern IT operations with insights across enterprise tools stack.

These benefits all look good on paper. But, what are real-world businesses that are leveraging AI within IT operations, specifically with GCP and OpsRamp, saying about the benefits of AIOps?

Join Courtney Kealhofer, customer engineer, Google Cloud; John Mleczko, solutions architect, OpsRamp; and Jeremy Fields, vice president of innovation practice, Global Services, Hitachi (News - Alert) Vantara, for a live webinar “Leveraging AI in IT Operations: Real Business Benefits from Customers” at 2 p.m. EST Sept. 29.

Attendees will hear from customers who are leveraging AIOps and showing real-world benefits with Google (News - Alert) Cloud and OpsRamp. A few real-world benefits include 40%-80% reduction in time spent to find and fix issues, 70% expansion in customers with minimal increase in infrastructure and required resources and 90%-95% reduction in alert noise driven by AIOps.

This is the second part of a two-part series that is titled “Redefining Multi-Cloud Monitoring and Management.”  If you missed Part 1, it’s available for on-demand viewing.
