Dr. Satwant Kaur is hailed as the "First Lady of Emerging Technologies" in Silicon Valley, Media, and the industry worldwide. She is the author of Amazon's bestseller, "Transitioning Embedded Systems to Intelligent Environments: A journey through evolving technologies".
Dr. Satwant Kaur has more than 20 years of proven success and innovation in the emerging technology arena. She currently serves as the Chief Technologist - Innovation for HLS in the office of the CTO for the Hewlett-Packard Company.
Her professional positions have included: Strategist at the Office for the CTO at EMC ; Platform Strategist in Intel Architecture Group at Intel; Director of Development at Symantec; Chief Architect (Allstate) at Computer Associates (CA Technologies); Chief Technology Architect at Quest Software (part of DELL) ; Chief Technology Officer for TIBCO and Management Consultant. Dr. Kaur has also served on the Board of Panacea Software and Expert Consultant for Thomson Reuters.
She was also Electrical Engineering Faculty Member at Idaho State University and Computer Science Faculty Member at Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi (IIT)
Hundreds of Radio Shows have broadcast her interviews. Her live Radio Show segment, "First Lady of Emerging Technologies" on "Computers 2 Know" earned thousands of live audience. She has been interviewed by CBS, Huffington Post and her interviews have been broadcast on hundreds of CBS sites.
She is a sought after keynote speaker on emerging technologies at IEEE conferences on Consumer Electronics, IEEE embedded system workshops, Connected World Conference, and pan IIT conferences,
She is the author of IETE bi-monthly column "Pushing frontiers with the first lady of emerging technologies". Dr. Kaur has been featured on front cover of "Mobile Development and Design", "Fierce Smart Grid", "Government Security News". She has been saluted as "Women of M2M" by the Connected World magazine on their annual list.
She received her doctorate in Mobile IP technologies from Oakland University in Oakland, Michigan. She also holds a Bachelor of Technology degree in Electrical Engineering with distinction from the Indian Institute of Technology in New Delhi, India.

Mike Lambert is the Solutions Director for Advanced Business Communications based in Murray Hill, NJ. In this position, Mike leads product strategy and execution for Alcatel-Lucent’s webRTC, video and enterprise VoIP solutions in the IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) portfolio. Mike has over 15 years experience in the telecom industry with deep technical and market understanding of IMS, VoIP, video, unified communications and wireless technologies for consumer and enterprise market segments.
Prior to joining Alcatel-Lucent in 2010, Mike was Senior Director of Marketing at Ditech Networks in Mountain View, CA where he was responsible for product management and marketing as well as outbound marketing. In this role Mike conceived and launched a new communications service, toktok, which leveraged speech recognition and web technologies to web enable voice conversations. Prior to Ditech Networks, Mike held product management, sales, software engineering and support positions with Nortel Networks in USA and United Kingdom.
Mike holds a Masters of Business Administration from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois.
