Toshiba to Present Conference Sessions at INTERNET TELEPHONY Conference & EXPO Miami 2005

Toshiba America Information Systems Inc., Digital Solutions Division (TAIS DSD) today announced that David Fridley, product manager for Toshiba IP Telephony Solutions, has accepted an invitation to present two sessions entitled, "Wi-Fi Telephony: Overcoming Challenges and Maximizing Applications" and "IP Deployment: What You Need to Know and What Nobody's Telling You" at TMC's INTERNET TELEPHONY(R) Conference & EXPO Miami 2005 at the Hyatt Regency in Miami, Florida.
In Fridley's session, "Wi-Fi Telephony: Overcoming Challenges and Maximizing Applications," he will discuss topics regarding WiFi in a VoIP application -- including what it is, how to tell if the network is ready for voice, advantages of WiFi, WiFi vs. traditional wireless phones, WiFi vs. cell phones, and the future of WiFi.
In his session, "IP Deployment: What You Need to Know and That Nobody's Telling You," Fridley will educate the audience on the specific steps to deploying IP, what's involved, parameters to be considered, how to choose a vendor, and how to ensure an effective transition.
