BURLINGAME, Calif. --(Business Wire)-- Limbo, the world's largest mobile entertainment community, today announced the addition of Silicon Valley veteran David Limp as the company's first Chief Operating Officer.

"Dave has played a critical role in building several major technology companies, and we are very excited to add his leadership, strategic vision and operational expertise as we continue to grow our business," said Jonathon Linner, CEO and co-founder of Limbo.

"The combination of explosive member growth and a world class founding team make the opportunity at Limbo the best I have seen in years," added Limp. "I am thrilled to help Limbo continue its incredible momentum and build the largest and most passionate mobile community in the world."

Limp's association with Limbo dates back to its inception in 2005 when Azure Capital Partners, the venture capital firm with which he was a Venture Partner, provided seed funding for the start up.

Prior to this role, he was Chief Strategy Officer of Liberate Technologies. Dave was promoted to that broad strategic role from the position of Vice President of Marketing, after helping to successfully spin the company out from Oracle.
