Fake cases against PPP activists to be withdrawn soon: Ayaz SoomroKarachi, Mar 06, 2009 (Asia Pulse Data Source via COMTEX) -- Sindh Minister for Law and Parliamentary Affairs Muhammad Ayaz Soomro has asked all PPP district presidents, Sindh Ministers and MPAs to provide list of fake cases registered against PPP activists following the assassination of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto on December 27, 2009. Law Minister, on the directives of President Asif Ali Zardari and Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah, in a letter, asked the PPP office-bearers to immediately provide him the list of such fake cases against the party workers, so as to withdraw them. Ayaz Soomro said that fake cases of arson, looting and other crimes were registered against PPP activists after December 27, 2007, on personal enmity. Justice demands withdrawal of such cases, he observed and added that the present government Would ensure justice with the PPP activists. |
