Surgical Information Systems Demonstrates Perioperative Interoperability at IHE North American ConnectathonATLANTA, Jan. 17, 2012 /PRNewswire via COMTEX/ -- Surgical Information Systems ("SIS"), a leader in perioperative information systems, announced today their successful completion of the healthcare industry's largest interoperability testing event, the Integrating the Healthcare Enterprise (IHE) Connectathon. This year's event experienced an increase in participating vendors of more than 20% over 2011's Connectathon. The Connectathon's growth demonstrates the continued and increasing need for interoperability in the healthcare industry.
