Telvent Selected by Entegrus to Provide Integrated Smart Grid Data ServicesOct 17, 2012 (PRWeb.com via COMTEX) -- Telvent GIT, S.A., a leading real-time IT solutions and information provider for a sustainable world, announced today that Entegrus Powerlines has selected Telvent's Conductor - Meter Data Management(TM) (MDM) solution to serve as the central repository for all operational data in the company's electrical distribution network. This is the inaugural production implementation of Telvent's Conductor MDM system. Conductor MDM provides Entegrus with a robust data storage, management and analysis solution to compliment its advanced metering infrastructure (AMI). It will help strengthen the company's smart grid operations by improving key business processes such as meter data validation, estimation and editing, providing the most accurate information to support better billing and reporting practices, as well as a shorter meter-to-cash cycle.
