EPM and Oracle Announce Successful Completion of Multi-Product Implementation and Integration of Oracle Utilities Applications for Middlesex Water Company

Nov 05, 2012 (M2 PRESSWIRE via COMTEX) -- Redwood Shores, California and Flanders, New Jersey -- News Facts Oracle Corporation and EP²M , LLC, an industry-leading systems integrator and Gold-level member of Oracle PartnerNetwork (OPN) announced today the completion of a successful go-live, capping a series of strategic Oracle Utilities application implementations and integrations for Middlesex Water Company , a 115-year old water utility company which owns and operates regulated water utility and wastewater systems serving more than 450,000 residents in New Jersey, Delaware and Pennsylvania.

Today's announcement underscores EP²M's industry-leading reputation as a valued systems integrator with a proven record of successful multi-product implementations and integrations for Oracle Utilities solutions.

EP²M, in partnership with CH2M Hill , first completed the successful roll-out of Oracle Utilities Mobile Workforce Management late last year, integrating it with Middlesex Water Company's existing Oracle Utilities Customer Care and Billing . Implementation of Oracle Utilities Work and Asset Management , selected in 2011, was completed in spring 2012. The three-way integration between these applications has now been completed, further enhancing the Field Work process and increasing automation of the Middlesex Water Asset Management Program.

The project has also resulted in enhanced company-wide timekeeping, consolidated supply chain management, as well as asset-based work order management.

This most recent project phase succeeded in delivering full integration of the three Oracle Utilities applications into Middlesex Water Company's other key business systems: the Oracle E-Business Suite for accounting, ADP for payroll, and Geographic Information Systems for map viewing of water-related infrastructure.

EP²M and CH2M Hill's deployment of the Oracle Field Work Process Integration Pack for the multiple integrations allowed the team to meet critical time and budget goals, while delivering greater transparency into business processes and a truly integrated enterprise solution that automates and streamlines operations across critical business, customer service, field and related systems.
