CyberData Announces the Release of the Highly Anticipated VoIP Talkback Speaker, Available in Both SIP-Enabled and Singlewire-Enabled VersionsMONTEREY, Calif. --(Business Wire)-- Answering the demand of the market, CyberData (News - Alert) today announced the release of the VoIP Talkback Speaker. Available as both a SIP-enabled version and Singlewire-enabled version, the Push-to-Talk Talkback Speaker has been highly anticipated within the education market in particular. The VoIP Talkback Speaker, perfect in classrooms, offices, medical clinics and facilities, is a Powered-over-Ethernet (802.3af) device enabling two-way communication in a multitude of settings. CyberData decided to release both the SIP-enabled version and the Singlewire-enabled version (for use with Informacast) together because of the high demand. Many value added resellers and integrators have expressed interest since they have customers on both SIP and Siglewire platforms requiring Talkback Speakers. Today, CyberData delivered. In a typical environment, a call can be placed to the speaker to initiate a page or two-way conversation. By use of a remote call button (included with the SIP version, sold separately with the Singlewire version), calls to a predetermined extension can be initiated from the room with the speaker. During the active calls, the LED light on the switch can be programmed to blink to show call activity. Additionally, the SIP-enabled Talkback Speaker has a Monitor Mode function where the speaker may be called from a remote phone and discretely monitor the activity in the room.
