Dubbed My Media Hub, these additional features come at no additional cost to existing and new customers and will be downloaded automatically to set-top boxes. The extended software capability allows Fetch TV customers to browse and play rich media content stored on compatible devices on their home computer network. Customers can now use Fetch TV to play a slideshow of photos; listen to favourite songs; view album artwork and playlists in a connected media library; as well as watch videos and movies with full playback control.

My Media Hub can also use the USB port on the Fetch TV set-top box to play content from a portable USB device - such as a USB storage stick, an external hard drive or camera - on your TV.


iiNet Chief Product Officer Steve Harley said the addition of My Media Hub makes Fetch TV an even better service.

My Media Hub is available to iiNet Group Fetch TV customers and can be found on the User Interface via the Apps>Featured menu. Easy to follow instructions are provided at http://www.iinet.net.au/fetchtv/faq.html - guides iiNet's Fetch TV service offers digital free-to-air channels, subscription channels, the ability to pause live TV, a one terabyte personal video recorder, video on-demand TV, access to rent over 1,400 movies on-demand and interactive content via an unmetered broadband connection.
