Itron and Cisco Technology to provide technology for CLP Power's Hong Kong pilot projectNov 20, 2012 (WORLDWIDE COMPUTER PRODUCTS NEWS via COMTEX) -- Technology company Itron Inc (NASDAQ:ITRI) on Monday revealed that its smart grid solution has been selected by CLP Power Hong Kong Ltd for a 4,500 advanced meter pilot project. According to an agreement signed recently, the company said it will provide a comprehensive solution that will include its smart meters, data collection software, meter data management software and Itron Cellular Solutions, as well as networking company Cisco's Connected Grid Routers (CGRs), along with Connected Grid Network Management System (CG-NMS).
