Clicks and mortar path to a merry Christmas

Nov 21, 2012 (The Australian - ABIX via COMTEX) -- Australian retailers need to embrace online shopping. E-commerce is growing, with about 55 per cent of Australians researching their purchases on the web. However, over 95 per cent of purchases are still made offline. Google has observed that shopping-related searches have increased by 20 per cent each year, with about 40 per cent from mobile devices. Retailers need to offer desktop and mobile sites and use online presence to complement offline presence.
