Winter of pricey flix content may follow fall

Nov 26, 2012 (The Australian Financial Review - ABIX via COMTEX) -- Australian movie rental company Quickflix is experiencing a number of challenges. In mid-November 2012, its CEO and deputy chairman left, following the departure of the board member representing its largest investor. The company is fast using its cash reserves as it moves from a DVD rental service to a subscription-based video-streaming model. It has sought assistance to find a new investor. It is scheduled to emerge from a trading halt on 29 November.
