City National Bank Hires Paula Laliberte as Regional Trust Manager in New YorkNEW YORK, Nov 26, 2012 (GlobeNewswire via COMTEX) -- City National Bank today announced that veteran trust administrator Paula Laliberte has joined Trust Services as a senior vice president and regional trust manager in New York City. Laliberte will serve high-net-worth families, individuals, entrepreneurs, hedge fund and private equity professionals and professional service firms in New York to ensure that clients can take advantage of all the capabilities of City National, including credit, private wealth management, treasury and cash management, foreign exchange, and trust solutions. She will report to Mike Dowling, manager for Trust Services in Los Angeles. "Especially with looming changes in the tax laws, Paula brings the expertise to find trust and estate planning solutions for our clients," said Dowling. Prior to joining City National, Laliberte spent more than 20 years with U.S. Trust in New York where she was a senior vice president and trust relationship officer in charge of more than 250 accounts. Before that she worked at National Westminster Bank and Chemical Bank. She is a graduate of Wheaton College in Norton, Mass., and received her MBA in finance from Fordham University. In addition, Bobbie Larkin was promoted to vice president and personal trust officer in City National Bank's Delaware office. Larkin joined City National in 2010 and before that she worked at Wilmington Trust Co. in Pennsylvania for about five years. She will report to Laliberte in New York.
