Fit for Work Reveals Tool for Reducing Work Related Injuries and Costs

San Antonio, Texas, Dec 04, 2012 (PRWeb.com via COMTEX) -- Fit for Work, a national provider of innovative workplace health, wellness, ergonomic and safety services, announced today that the company will be presenting at the 2012 National Ergonomics Conference and Exposition in Las Vegas, Nevada. Fit for Work Co-founder, Keith Adamson and Fit for Work Director of Ergonomics, James Rethaber, will lead a session about the benefits of Physical Demand Analysis (PDA).

The session entitled Physical Demand Analysis: Reducing Work-Related Injuries and Costs will take place on Friday, December 7 at 8:30 A.M. Using a case study based on a large grocery retail support center, Adamson and Rethaber will demonstrate how the support center used physical demand analysis as an essential step toward reducing worker-related injuries by 50% and costs associated with injuries by nearly 70%. The session will provide participants with a clear understanding of physical demand analysis, a road map about how to use PDA to help improve job candidate selection and retention, and innovative ideas about how this valuable tool can be molded to fit the safety and ergonomic needs of any company.
