Snipp Adds Mobile Purchase Validation and Site Builder Solutions to Round Out Its 'Mobilize Me' Platform

(Marketwire Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) WASHINGTON, DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA -- (Marketwire) -- 12/12/12 -- Snipp Interactive Inc. (www.snipp.com), an international provider of mobile marketing solutions listed on the TSX Venture Exchange (TSX VENTURE: SPN), has expanded its 'Mobilize Me' platform with the addition of its new Mobile Purchase Validation and Mobile Site Builder solutions. The Mobilize Me Platform now includes three mobile specific solutions - Response, Infrastructure and Validation, which collectively enable brands to engage and interact with their customers through mobile across the entire purchase lifecycle.

-- Response: A full suite of mobile activations that brands can add to make offline campaigns more interactive and measurable.

-- Infrastructure: A robust set of tools that brands can use to create mobile destinations and experiences for their customers.

-- Validation Solutions: Entirely mobile workflows that replace traditional mail-based processes used to validate specific customer actions (e.g.

receipt processing for purchases).

These solutions have gained an impressive amount of press from industry-leading publications such as Mobile Marketer, Chief Marketer, MIN Online and Mobile Marketing Watch. Links to these articles can be found at the bottom of this press release.

Mobile Purchase Validation Snipp debuted its Mobile Purchase Validation solution with Church & Dwight, maker of ARM & HAMMER Baking Soda earlier this month. The solution streamlines the receipt processing for purchase related marketing programs by enabling customers to submit their receipts through their mobile phone (instead of sending them in by mail). By creating entirely mobile workflows for receipt processing, Snipp's Purchase Validation solution helps brands lower their costs of such programs by at least 50% and allows for customers to receive their rebates/rewards in less than two days versus the industry standard 6-8 weeks. The solution also captures a lot more data about customer behavior than traditional solutions giving brands deeper analytical capabilities.

Mobile Purchase Validation requires no point-of-sale integration and when combined with Snipp's Response solutions, allows purchase related marketing programs to run more frequently and efficiently. For the first time, brands now have a solution that allows for direct one-to-one customer interaction, irrespective of the channel. Previously, programs such as rebates, coupons, gift-with-purchase offers or loyalty typically require customers to submit physical proof of purchase.

Mobile Site Builder Snipp's Mobile Site Builder, a key part of Snipp's Infrastructure solutions, is a dynamic mobile web builder that allows for the rapid creation of custom HTML5 mobile websites. It is a cost-effective way for large brands to build custom cross-platform mobile campaign pages. Current solutions on the market are typically template and/or form based, and are often unable to meet the functional needs of brands. Consequently brands tend to develop mobile sites on a custom basis, leading to unnecessarily large development costs and long lead times. Snipp's Site Builder solution is focused on enabling clients to build functionally rich mobile sites from the ground up without requiring any coding whatsoever.

Meredith Corporation's Special Interest Media (SIM) is the first customer for this solution and Snipp is expected to announce another publisher client for this solution shortly. Snipp is also in discussions with leading ad-networks to have the Site Builder solution create destination sites to complement mobile banner ads that for the most part today point to generic non-mobile optimized landing pages.

Atul Sabharwal, Snipp's CEO and co-founder, said, "With the launch of these solutions, our 'Mobilize Me' Platform now allows for brands to engage with and track customers across the purchase lifecycle whether it be offline or online."
