Contegix Growth Leads to Corporate Headquarters Move and New Data Center

ST. LOUIS --(Business Wire)--

Contegix, a cloud computing, colocation and managed hosting company that empowers customers by embracing the Go BeyondTM philosophy, will be moving its headquarters to 210 North Tucker to accommodate the company's continued growth and commitment to superior technology. In addition to the headquarters move, Contegix will be building a state-of-the-art data center to accommodate their growing base of technology customers.

"We are constantly exploring the best uses of technology for our customers, and we saw an opportunity to simultaneously upgrade our facilities and unite our company under one roof," said Matthew Porter, CEO of Contegix. "We owe it to our customers and our employees to invest in facilities that propel us forward and ensure future success. As one of the world's largest data center providers, Digital Realty gives us the ability to expand our footprint as we continue to grow."

Contegix has experienced an 86% increase in new customer sales during 2012. In order to facilitate the company's growth, particularly in managed services and high-end colocation for high-density services, Contgix approached building owner Digital Realty to design a data center with N+1 redundancy, including N+1 generators. N+1 facilities have at least one independent backup; ensuring systems will be available in the event of a primary power failure.

"We are pleased to be a part of Contegix's growth and expansion plans in St. Louis," said Michael F. Foust, CEO of Digital Realty. "With our most recent improvements, the power, space and enhanced technical attributes available at 210 North Tucker make this data center property an ideal solution for Contegix and its customers."

Contegix will be an anchor tenant in this world-class facility that will house both its offices and data center. Lifelong residents of St. Louis, Porter and Contegix Co-founder Craig McElroy made a conscious decision to keep the company downtown, which has seen a renaissance over the past decade.

"Contegix and its owners have made a commitment to continue the resurgence of the City's core," said St. Louis Mayor, Francis G. Slay. "This move shows their active participation in the future of their hometown."

Digital Realty unveiled the $30 million data center renovation for 210 North Tucker in September. Contegix is leasing the entire 6th floor and will be given signage rights to the building. The lease is effective immediately, and Contegix is expected to be moved into the offices and data center by the end of January 2013.
