21st century skills must for youth to play leading role


(Daily Frontier Post (Afghanistan) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Pakistan can be transformed in to a global powerhouse through a focus on education and encouraging the adoption of 21st century skills.

Naveed Siraj, a computer expert and Country Manager, Intel Pakistan said here on Sunday. Pakistani youth is an asset of the country and it must equip itself with latest technologies and knowledge to get a leading role in comity of nations, he said.



The year 2012 comes to an end, he said and urged the computer experts to prepare plans for leading the young generation of the country towards a path where they can compete with others and successfully face future challenges and opportunities.

"The year is about to end and it is the time to highlight its achievements and discuss key themes for the year ahead", he said.


He said the latest computer technologies like the next generation processors had changed way people use and interact with computing technology from interactive signs, smart cars to smart phones, tablets, Ultra books and servers.
