Hertz and British Chambers of Commerce Team to Help Small to Medium Sized Businesses Save on Vehicle Hire


Dec 20, 2012 (Close-Up Media via COMTEX) -- Hertz UK announced it is partnering with the British Chambers of Commerce to provide members of six participating Chambers with special access to Hertz's tailored solutions for small to medium sized businesses for a six month promotional period.



According to a release, the Hertz Business First Account and the Hertz 28+ Plan solutions provide cost savings on car and van rentals as well greater flexibility in managing changing fleet hire needs without the need for leasing. Nectar points can also be earned with every rental.

Many small to medium sized businesses are challenged with managing fluctuating outgoings in an unpredictable economic environment. The Hertz Business First Account is a full service solution that provides fixed and preferential rental rates on periods less than 28 days with car hire starting from as little as GBP15 per day. The service includes personalised account management, the option for delivery and collection, staff benefits programme, ability to collect Nectar points, and other business rewards.


For businesses whose vehicle hire needs change from month to month, the Hertz 28+ Plan offers a flexible alternative to leasing or contract hire with Chambers members qualifying for a 35 percent discount on a range of cars and vans. Rates include free delivery and collection, 24 hour recovery and breakdown assistance, a minimum of 2,000 free miles per month, free monthly valet service and dedicated account management. There are no upfront payments or finance charges. Customers signing up to the Hertz 28+ Plan will qualify for 5,000 Nectar points.
