Shas offers blessings app [Jerusalem Post (Israel)](Jerusalem Post (Israel) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Shas unveiled a new application for iPhone and Android smartphones Sunday. On the application, called "Maran shelita" (Hebrew for: the great rabbi, who should live a good and long life), requests for blessings can be sent to Shas mentor Rabbi Ovadia Yosef. The application also includes a speech by the rabbi, a video about his life and a daily lesson in Jewish law.
