Toshiyuki Osawa, CEO & Chairman of Sharp Electronics Corporation (SEC) and Sharp Corporation Executive Officer, outlined the company's business development plans centering with new technologies such as IGZO etc.

Kozo Takahashi, Executive Vice President, Chief Officer, Products Business; Group General Manager, Global Sales and Marketing Group, introduced the features of IGZO technology which has been successfully mass produced for the first time in the world, and also business development plans of products applying the IGZO technology.



Mr. James Clappin, President of Corning Incorporated, also followed with a speech expressing high expectations toward this new innovative IGZO technology.

Sharp Electronics Marketing Company of America (SEMCA) President John Herrington explained how Sharp is leading the large size LCD TV market in US together with an introduction of the Sharp Booth at CES.
