Ontario, Canada Connects Graduate Students to Industry R&D

TORONTO --(Business Wire)--

Ontario, Canada is helping to connect graduate students with internship opportunities to grow the province's knowledge-based economy and create new jobs.

The Ontario government is extending support to the Mitacs Accelerate program, which connects graduate students and post-doctoral fellows with applied research opportunities at companies across Ontario. This will help provide about 1,400 four-month internships to Ontario graduate students over two years.

QUOTES

For the past five years, the Mitacs program has not only provided graduate students with relevant research opportunities, but also allowed companies to access high-quality research expertise."
