Oxford Instruments Selects CallidusCloud's Litmos Learning Management System
PLEASANTON, CA, Jan 17, 2013 (MARKETWIRE via COMTEX) --
Callidus Software Inc. (NASDAQ: CALD), the leader in sales
effectiveness and cloud computing, announced today that Oxford
Instruments, a leading provider of high technology tools and systems
for research and industry, has selected CallidusCloud's Litmos LMS to
manage and facilitate worldwide delivery of its online training
program. The agreement was signed in the fourth quarter of 2012.
Oxford Instruments recently selected CallidusCloud's RapidIntake
learning authoring system to build training courses for employees.
Oxford Instruments will use RapidIntake to create training courses,
which will then be delivered to its worldwide network of distributors
via the Litmos LMS. Leveraging these solutions, Oxford Instruments
expects to significantly reduce down time resulting from other
systems that require IT management, and travel costs associated with
instructor-led training.
CallidusCloud's Litmos LMS provides an easy-to-use mobile solution
for learning and training anytime, anywhere. Litmos LMS provides a
platform that enables customers to build and manage
professional-looking online courses themselves. System users have
access to real-time reporting to see precisely when students have
completed their training, how long they took, and what scores they
achieved. The SCORM-certified hosted training system does not require
any resources or support from the IT department and can be launched
