MC10 today announced that its CEO, David Icke, is speaking at the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting in Davos, Switzerland. The Annual Meeting is among the foremost creative forces for engaging leaders in collaborative activities focused on shaping the global, regional and industry agendas.

MC10 was named a 2013 World Economic Forum Technology Pioneer for its groundbreaking conformal electronics platform that empowers people to play a more active role in staying healthy. Mr. Icke is participating in a Beta Zone session titled "Active by Design" on Thursday, January 24. This session will explore how cities and products can be designed to promote healthy and active lifestyles. The "Active by Design" session is moderated by Arianna Huffington president and Editor-in-Chief of The Huffington Post (News - Alert) Media Group, and features participatin from Tim Brown, CEO of IDEO, George C. Halvorson, Chairman and CEO of Kaiser Foundation Health Plan, Priya Hiranandani-Vandrevala, Co-Founder and Chairman of the Hirco Group, and Chris Luebkeman, Director for Global Foresight and Innovation at Arup.
