The free app from InsperityTM Retirement Services provides quick, secure access to an array of 401(k) account information. Plan participants can use the app to review their 401(k) balances, recent contributions and current rates of return. The app is the culmination of a two-year project to redesign and expand the Retirement Service Center, allowing plan sponsors and participants full capabilities to manage their 401(k) online. Through the Retirement Service Center, employees can enroll, change contribution rates and investment elections, add beneficiaries, take out a loan or make a withdrawal without having to submit paper forms. Plan sponsors, likewise, have full access to detailed plan activity, on-demand reports and copies of plan documents.
