Eyelit Inc., a manufacturing software provider for visibility, control, and coordination of manufacturing operations for the aerospace & defense, discrete electronics, semiconductor, and photovoltaic (solar) industries, announced today that eMagin (News - Alert) Corporation (NYSE MKT: EMAN), the leader in Active-Matrix Organic LED (AMOLED) manufacturing, has selected Eyelit MES™ to further optimize production efficiency at its manufacturing facility located in IBM (News - Alert) Microelectronics Division's fab in Fishkill, New York.

The deployment of Eyelit MES is intended to help eMagin realize the following benefits of production efficiency:

  • Lower fixed costs through reduced cycle time
  • Ramp production rapidly to meet customer demand
  • Protect proprietary technology and processes

The system can be rapidly implemented, without having to write code, and will be locally maintained by a small internal team without the need for external consultants.
