Brill makes switch to Mitel cloud solutionFeb 26, 2013 (TELECOMWORLDWIRE via COMTEX) -- Mitel (NASDAQ: MITL) (TSX: MNW) said that publishing house Brill is replacing its legacy communication platform with a Mitel cloud solution. The new system, designed, implemented and managed by Mitel partner Detron, aims to unify and simplify every-day communications for the company's 150 employees around the world, and significantly improve their ability to engage, support and connect with their customers and suppliers, regardless of location. The publishing house, with a focus on scientific publications, replaced its legacy communication platform with the cloud-based Virtual Mitel(R) Communications director (vMCD) platform. Once fully implemented, the company's teleworkers in Germany, Switzerland and the United States will be connected and integrated on a single system, centralising and simplifying management and fostering more efficient communication and collaboration between employees in the head office, teleworkers and those working in the company's international offices.
