EnerNex Continues to Expand Energy Systems Security Division


KNOXVILLE, Tenn. --(Business Wire)--

EnerNex continues to bolster the firm's energy systems security division with the addition of Larry Pesce as Principal Consultant.

With over fifteen years of experience and a notable reputation within the industry, Pesce joins EnerNex with expertise in progressive engineering, information security, training and management, as well as HIPAA regulatory expertise. To add to his long list of accomplishments, he is a SANS Certified Instructor with experience in the U.S., Canada, and Europe. In addition, Pesce is co-host, researcher, content producer, and community educator with PaulDotCom.



As Principal Consultant, Pesce will be tasked with penetration testing control-systems, back-office IT, field devices, and various communications systems. Additionally, Larry's teaching expertise will be relied on to cross train fellow team members and to assist in the development and delivery of the EnerNex Smart Grid training program which will be rolled out this summer.

Prior to EnerNex, Pesce was the Senior Security Consultant with NWN (News - Alert) Corporation responsible for performing information security consulting engagements including: vulnerability scanning, penetration testing, security and risk assessments, regulatory compliance reviews, incident response, physical security, wireless security, password cracking, web application assessment and computer forensics investigations.
