Alarm.com Acquires EnergyHub


May 16, 2013 (Close-Up Media via COMTEX) -- Alarm.com, a provider of interactive security and connected home services, announced its acquisition of EnergyHub, a supplier of demand response and energy efficiency products and services for energy utilities, service providers, and end users.



According to a release, EnergyHub has developed and deployed Mercury, a software platform for enabling rapid deployment of demand response and energy efficiency programs that combine highly engaging customer applications with program management services.

Alarm.com said that EnergyHub will continue to operate as an independent company, led by its founder and President, Seth Frader-Thompson and the existing management team. With a focus on providing its partners and customers with a scalable and secure energy management platform, EnergyHub will continue to expand its customer base and further develop its services platform to meet the growing demands of the market.
