Virtual Upgrades Roster of 'Green' Clients with Smart Grid Interoperability Panel [Manufacturing Close - Up]

(Manufacturing Close - Up Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Virtual, Inc., a technology-focused association management company, has recently signed a new client in its green energy, clean environment and sustainability practice: Smart Grid Interoperability Panel (SGIP).

According to a release, this organization joins other Virtual clients such as AMERIPEN, GreenTouch, the LSP Association and the New England Clean Energy Council.

SGIP is a member-funded nonprofit organization whose domestic and international members represent the full spectrum of the Smart Grid industry. Through SGIP, members have a voice in accelerating standards harmonization and advancing the interoperability that will enable the modernization of power grids worldwide.

"The quest for green energy and renewable resources is one of the fastest-growing sectors of our economy and vital for our future. We are pleased that this forward-thinking group has engaged Virtual to support its valuable efforts on behalf of the public good, and we look forward to helping SGIP work toward its mission to improve energy delivery and use," said Andy Freed, Virtual's President.
