ZTE licenses CEVA-XC DSP to power LTE TDD/FDD SoCs

Aug 22, 2013 (MarketLine via COMTEX) -- CEVA, Inc., a licensor of silicon intellectual property platform solutions and DSP cores, has announced that ZTE Corporation, a provider of telecommunications equipment, network solutions and mobile devices, has licensed the CEVA-XC DSP to power its next generation of LTE TDD/FDD multi-mode base station system-on-chips, or SoCs.


The programmable CEVA-XC DSP enables ZTE to develop a powerful, scalable software-defined radio (SDR) platform for networking infrastructure that can support multiple air interface standards for base station rollouts and upgrades, worldwide.
