Wireless Glue Networks Issued Patent for "Providing an Area Network Middleware Interface"

Wireless Glue Networks, Inc., the industry leader in providing real-time data and control on a single machine-to-machine (M2M) platform announced today it has been issued patent No. 8,488,624, dated July 16, 2013, by the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
The patent covers a method for achieving cross network communication among multiple devices communicating on different protocols in a highly flexible and extensible manner. The method allows connectivity of the numerous legacy hardware systems that exist using different object models. It is useful in a wide-variety of M2M applications, including extension of the smart grid for demand-side energy management.
