Survalent Technology Announces They are Enabling Base Functionality for Outage Management System (OMS) on 500 Worldwide SystemsMississauga, ON, Sep 20, 2013 (PRWeb.com via COMTEX) -- Survalent Technology, a world leader in Smart Grid technology, announced today that they are enabling base functionality for Outage Management System (OMS) on all 500 of their worldwide systems. The announcement was made by Steve Mueller, President, at Survalent's worldwide user meeting, TechFest, being held this week in Niagara Falls, Ontario. Survalent has been in continuous operation servicing the electric utility industry since 1964. The base functionality includes the ability to log customer calls, create outage records, assign and manage service crews, and record time and materials for repairs. Customers need to be on software maintenance and contact Survalent's technical support group to enable OMS functionality. "With the release of our fully-integrated OMS and Distribution Management System (DMS), our system platform is now an Advanced Distribution Management System (ADMS)."
