FuseExpertise Participates in ipCapital Group Thought Leadership Conference
Ottawa, ON, Nov 13, 2013 (PRWeb.com via COMTEX) --
The 2013 ipCG executive retreat was held 6-8 November at Stowe, Vermont. The Thought Leadership Conference focused on the growing importance of IP as a unique and separate asset class and integrates the latest thinking on how to maximize ROI from the use of IP.
The Thought Leadership Conference examined how to use IP to protect existing businesses and create sustainable market disruptions to block competitors, and how to amplify IP to accelerate growth and monetize IP.
FuseExpertise is Expertise Management Software(TM) and it has important implications on the capturing, authoring, publishing and distribution of expertise. Expertise exists at many levels in the business and consumer market place, but it is generally accepted that expertise is the most relevant component of codified expertise. Expertise is an asset class, frequently referred to as intellectual assets. Internal expertise leakage in organizations is material, with employee turnover representing an annual $60 billion dollar hit to the US economy. External expertise by way of books, ebooks and speaking engagements have low grades in terms of codified knowledge/expertise objectives in the primary areas of retention, execution and accountability.
"We were grateful to participate, once again, at ipCapital Group's thought leadership program," said Greg Waite, President of FuseExpertise. "We have made important investments in our intellectual asset and intellectual property program, particularly focused on FuseExpertise. ipCG's vision around the amplification of IP to accelerate growth and monetization is directly in line with FuseExpertise and the amplification and monetization of expertise."
