InfoRelay Increases Power Density at Two US Data Centers

(PR Web Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) January 06, 2014 Leading data center and IT solutions provider InfoRelay Online Systems, Inc announced infrastructure upgrades at two US data centers this past Monday. Increased power density for complex, high-output colocation setups is now available in the Eastern and Western regions of the US. The power availability upgrades come as part of a grander rollout of infrastructure improvements by InfoRelay that began earlier this year.

InfoRelay, which is headquartered in Northern Virginia near the Dulles International Airport, operates 15 data centers across the United States and serves clients across the world. The recent capacity increases were enacted at InfoRelay’s LAX3 data center, located at N. Alameda Street in Los Angeles, CA and its IAD3 data center, located at Sunrise Valley Drive in Reston, VA. InfoRelay’s increased power density enables customers to add more servers to each colocation cabinet and ultimately increases the output of their hosting environments. Clients hosting infrastructure at the above-mentioned data centers also have access to a variety of other managed IT solutions, including SnapScale Cloud Hosting, premium bandwidth and remote hands services.

New, more competitively priced power density at the two data centers provides 15KW+ of power per colocation cabinet. InfoRelay’s Director of Sales William Lombardo explains, “Customers looking to increase power density in Los Angeles and in Reston are in a favorable situation. InfoRelay’s new lower-priced, higher-density power configurations allow customers to bring 60W of 208V power into a single rack, without dramatically increasing their financial commitment. Many customers start with around 30Amps per rack. But due to business growth, they often need to expand their footprint and scale infrastructure. Our latest upgrades to power setups enable these customers to realize that growth at a competitive rate, while keeping their equipment in the same secure data center.” The now power density is available as of January 12th, 2014.
