Silicon Image 4K Ultra HD Video Processor Selected for OPPO Digital's New Blu-Ray Disc™ Player

Silicon Image (NASDAQ:SIMG), a leading provider of HD connectivity solutions, today announced that its 4K Ultra HD adaptive scaling video processor with VRS® ClearView™ technology has been designed into OPPO Digital's new BDP-103D Blu-ray Disc™ player. The SiI9616 video processor uses adaptive techniques designed to scale both video and graphics up to 4K Ultra HD resolution at 60 frames per second and sharpen Blu-ray-quality video by enhancing image details and nuances.
