Lupita Nyong'o, a graduate of the British bourgeois Yale University's drama school, was nominated alongside Palme d'Or Award-winning French actress, Lea Seydoux, star of controversial lesbian love story ‘Blue Is The Warmest Colour'. Other finalists include British actors Will Poulter, George MacKay and the US star Dane Dehaan. The prestigious award; which is decided by public vote, will be announced on February 16 during the British Academy Film Awards – Britain's version of Oscar.
