District 2 Toastmasters Celebrates Toastmasters International Week


SEATTLE --(Business Wire)--

District 2 Toastmasters, part of Toastmasters International, will be recognizing February 2-8, 2014 as Toastmasters International Week, as proclaimed by Washington State Governor Jay Inslee. In his proclamation, Inslee states that "the ability to speak in a clear and effective manner is a powerful and important skill that can help overcome barriers to effective performance in virtually every endeavor and line of work."

"This is a tremendous way to recognize the opportunities to improve communication and leadership skills that Toastmasters International provides," said Sandy Malone, District 2 Governor. District 2 Toastmasters includes all of Seattle and stretches western Washington from Kent to the Canadian border.
