Premiere for film body's chairperson [Eire Region] [Mirror (UK)]


(Mirror (UK) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) THE Irish Film Institute unveiled its new chairperson yesterday.

Prof Margaret Kelleher, who is also chair of Anglo-Irish Literature and Drama at University College Dublin, was selected by the IFI board of directors.

She joined the IFI in 2012, and has worked with the Irish Film Archive on research and development initiatives.




IFI director Ross Keane said: "I am greatly looking forward to working closely with Margaret as we enter our next exciting chapter." Prof Kelleher said: "I am greatly honoured by this chance to chair the IFI and greatly value its role in showcasing film nationally and internationally."
