Baltimore Gas and Electric Deploys C3 Energy Smart Grid AnalyticsREDWOOD CITY, Calif. --(Business Wire)-- C3 Energy announced today that Baltimore Gas and Electric Company (BGE), a subsidiary of Exelon Corporation, has successfully deployed C3 (News - Alert) Revenue Protection™ and C3 AMI Operations™ across BGE's two million meter smart grid network, to help achieve its goals of ensuring cost-effective, efficient, and reliable energy delivery. The two C3 Energy Smart Grid Analytics™ solutions analyze over 35 billion rows of data from twelve BGE and third-party data sources to provide critical, actionable insight to the BGE revenue protection and grid operational teams, helping these teams to operate more efficiently and effectively. The data sources include MDMS, head end, CIS, work management, EAM, OMS, GIS, CMS, and meter installation vendor systems, among others. The C3 Energy Smart Grid Analytics solutions were deployed on time, on budget, and within full scope, only six months from project initiation. Together, the two solutions reduce instances of unbilled energy at BGE.
