BRIEF: Larry Grove to Kick Off Campaign for Lewis County Auditor [The Chronicle, Centralia, Wash. :: ](Chronicle, The (Centralia, WA) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) May 17--Larry Grove, Lewis County's chief accountant, will host an official campaign kickoff for Lewis County auditor from 7 to 8 a.m. Tuesday at the Centralia Train Depot meeting room. A continental breakfast will be served. Current Auditor Gary Zandell announced this year he will not seek re-election. Grove is running against Jenifer Slemp, a Napavine city councilor and former chair of the Lewis County Democrats. Grove's campaign kickoff event will feature various speakers, including Zandell, who endorses Grove; Brian Zylstra, representing Secretary of State Kim Wyman; former Lewis County Commissioner Joanne Schwartz; and current Lewis County Commissioner Bill Schulte. Pastor Dave Bach, from Centralia Church of the Nazarene, will give an invocation and Bill Logan, the former Lewis County sheriff, will lead a flag salute.
