SUBMARINE CONTRACT ; COMPANIES TODAY [Newcastle Journal (England)](Newcastle Journal (England) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) ENGINEER Ultra Electronics has won a US$21m (Pounds 12.3m) contract to supply naval computer-controlled power systems for the US Navy over the next five years. Greenfordbased Ultra will deliver the units, first designed for US Virginia class submarines, to US submarine-maker General Dynamics Electric Boat Corporation who will oversee the project.
