New approach for a traditional brand [Western Daily Press (UK)]

(Western Daily Press (UK) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Premier estate agent Humberts unveiled its new branding to 100,000 visitors at the CLA Game Fair - which took place at Blenheim Palace over the weekend of July 18 - 20.

The official celebrations took place on Saturday, July 19, with a champagne high tea at the Humberts stand - when the winners of the Pedigree since 1842 'Best in Show' dog photographic competition were announced.

Following the de-merger with Chestertons in June, the new Humberts identity features an estate blue monogram, incorporating a fan of feathers. Caroline Styles, marketing director at Humberts says: "The new Humberts branding brings together three essential elements. Humberts was established in 1842, and our long and rich heritage is at the very heart of our brand. The feathers were a popular design feature in the 19th century and bring a touch of beauty to the monogram.

"The estate blue was chosen to compliment the natural colours of the countryside and to bring a freshness and modern twist to the brand. The new look and feel is designed to At the Humberts CLA Game Fair stand the winners of the 'Pedigree since 1842 'Best in Show' dog photographic competition were announced reflect our heritage and strengths, along with the bright and exciting future of the Humberts business." With 230 employees, 24 branches based mainly across the southern and south western regions of the UK and with the head office to be based in Wiltshire, the de-merger with Chestertons has allowed Humberts to focus on its core strengths of sales, rural and professional services outside of the M25.

Charles Booker, manager of the Cirencester office, said: "We're absolutely thrilled with the new Humberts look and feel - the softer, more modern palette is a refreshing move away from the typical colours used in the property industry. We're incredibly proud of the way the business is going and we're looking forward to capitalising on the opportunities within the property market as we move into the second half of the year." The current Humberts website has already been rebranded and an entirely new website will be launched at the start of 2015.
