KERALA-BASED START-UP SETS SIGHTS ON BUSINESS POTENTIAL IN CSR


(Indian Business Insight Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) With the Government of India making Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) mandatory for companies, a Kochi-based start-up, Zero484 Infomedia Private Ltd, has plans to tap the huge potential in the area by offering implementation support. Under the new Companies Act, most firms with sizeable business are required to shell out at least 2 percent of their three year annual average net profit towards Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities. Zero484 Infomedia is perhaps the first start-up in Kerala which began focusing on CSR even before it was made mandatory.
