Zimbabwe : AUTODESK joins hands with ZIVA to make students industry ready [TendersInfo (India)]


(TendersInfo (India) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) A 3D design, engineering, and entertainment software major, Autodesk, has inked have a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Zimbabwe Institute of Vigital Arts (ZIVA) to help students become prepared for the industry and fully leverage opportunities in a new global environment.



The agreement between Autodesk and ZIVA will allow the latter's students to freely access professional 3D design software and learning content that is in line with industry practices and demands.

These are the same design solution that more than 12 million Autodesk professional users use across the world to bring their ideas to life, including the Autodesk Education Master Suite and Autodesk Entertainment Creation Suite.


The partnership will also provide educators with strong learning materials to enable them to generate immersive learning opportunities for students built around real world scenarios and challenges.

Saki Mafundikwa, founder and director of ZIVA, stated : "Our students have incredible raw talent, and they just need access to the best digital tools available in the market and knowledge of industry workflows. This will not only enable them to hone their technical and problem solving skills, but will be a source of competitive advantage to help them achieve their personal and career success," said .
