"FICO® Score Open Access is ramping up quickly and we're well on the way to our goal of giving all Americans their FICO® Scores for free," said Jim Wehmann, FICO's executive vice president for Scores. "Our program enables forward-looking lenders like Chase to provide an extremely valuable and popular benefit to their customers. In fact, many people are coming to expect access to their FICO® Scores. Chase's participation in the program reflects its commitment to consumer financial education and empowerment."

"We want to help our customers make financial decisions with confidence," said Pam Codipoti, president of the Mass Affluent Business for Chase Card Services. "That is why we are providing our Chase Slate customers free access to genuine FICO® Scores, along with powerful educational information that can help them understand their credit standing and financial situation."

Chase Slate cardholders will have access to updated FICO® Scores each month, along with tools and resources to help them manage their financial health. By empowering consumers, many lenders participating in FICO® Score Open Access have already seen greater customer engagement and satisfaction, as well as lower delinquency rates.

Businesses bought more than 10 billion FICO® Scores last year, and the scores are used in 90 percent of consumer lending decisions in the US.  FICO® Score Open Access is the first and only program to give consumers free access to the exact same FICO® Scores their lenders are using. This distinguishes FICO® Score Open Access from programs that offer other credit scores.

FICO is the leader in credit risk scoring, and the FICO® Score is the standard measure of consumer credit risk. The largest credit card issuers, auto lenders, mortgage lenders and tens of thousands of other businesses in 20 countries rely on the FICO® Score for better decisions.
