Atigeo Principal Engineer to Present on Cloud Security at Stata + Hadoop World in Singapore this MonthAtigeo™, a compassionate technology company and developer of the xPatterns® big data analytics platform will be presenting at Strata + Hadoop World taking place in Singapore Dec. 1-3. Vishnu Vettrivel, principal engineering lead at Atigeo, will present a 12-step guide on cloud computing on Dec. 3, 11:00 a.m., rooms 334-335 at the Suntec Singapore Convention and Exhibition Centre. For attendees running on a public or a private cloud provider, the step-by-step guide to be presented is designed to help participants understand and implement a security framework for their own data-driven cloud deployment. This presentation prepares information technology (IT) and developer communities with an introduction into cyber and information security. "I will be going over each step in detail so that attendees can understand the importance of underlying security domains, and also learn how to go about implementing them using open source solutions alone," said Vettrivel. "I'll also share my ersonal experiences and best practices when it comes to implementing a security framework for the cloud." Vettrivel is a developer and architect with over 15 years of experience in the banking, e-commerce, and healthcare industries. He currently builds, secures, and operates multiple data-driven applications in the cloud for Atigeo, based in Bellevue, Wash.
